Greene King plc announced on May 24 the appointment of Justin Adams as Managing Director of its Brewing Company Division. He will be an executive member of the main board.

Justin Adams, 39, is currently Managing Director, UK and Ireland, of Maxxium, the global marketing, sales and distribution company for premium wines and spirits, where he has helped to deliver impressive growth. Before Maxxium, he held a number of positions at Diageo, the last of which was Managing Director of Guinness in Germany. He will join Greene King in September 2005.

Rooney Anand, Chief Executive of Greene King, commented: 'I am delighted to welcome Justin to Greene King.
